Twisted Metal Question is there Races?

Is there normal races in Twisted Metal for PS3? You race a track with like 8 other players first one to the goal wins. But OFC with the wepons and all choas!

Or is it just arena battles?

It has twisted version of race events in the SP story game but for the most part it's arena battles, the best arena car battles.

Ok thanks, so there is no multiplayer mode or split screen race mode? Like Mario Cart but with more mayhem? :P

The game does have 4-player splitscreen and 16-player online play, not sure if online splitscreen but all the modes involve vehicles fighting each other, course there are difference like Nuke mode which involves capturing leader to set off a missile to the opponents statue but really it's all about car combat.

There is no online split-screen unfortunately.-Fromage-
