Twisted Metal. Your Doing it Right

My friends and I just picked up twisted metal and I can't be more satisfied. Now i haven't got the chance to play the campaign but I've been playing multiplayer non stop. The first night we all got it we got together and hooked up There PS3 and was happy to see it had LAN. LAN is starting to die out on some games and thats a real lose for a couple reasons. For One reason some online multiplayer match making can be very buggy and not work all the time, which is what Twisted Metal's online is. The second reason why i'm glad they have LAN is because twice a year the local Penn State and it makes everything so much easier when you can just play over LAN. So we had a punch of friends over figuring that we were either gonna play 3 people on LAN or 4 people on each screen in there own game. Then we saw that you can do split screen on every game in LAN. This was a big Plus for me. I have seen so many games go without LAN or if they do go without split screen on them. I have to say that I am so happy that i Picked up this game. What are your guys' thoughts on Twisted Metal and your experience?

When I can get into a game it's a lot of fun but I spend more time with disconnects and network errors than I do playing.spazzx625

I only had time to play online once last night and it did take me 3 times to get into a game with my friend but after that we stayed in the game for a couple rounds till it kicked us out. How I see it though is that the problem with their network can be fixed but when games don't put in these simple things such as LAN and split screen thats when i see a problem in the core game. Hopefully they do get the network fixed at some point because the little I did play online was so much fun.
