Twisted Moments in Gaming (Obviously Spoilers Are Here)

Inspired from Fullmetal Alchemist's 7th episode, I was curious to see if gaming could be just as twisted as anime. (If you're an anime hater aka you have a silly phobia, ignore me.) Basically, this thread serves as a chance for you to tell us what moments in gaming have revealed a twisted plot twist. I'm not talking sad scenes here, I'm talking "What in the freaking world?" moments that gaming tends to lack. Before you tell your story, please give a clear spoiler warning AND the game you're about to spoil BEFORE you give the spoiler. Some of you actually say the warning AFTER the damage is done. And of course, if you can make an argument out of this thread, somehow, then yes, yes I do encourage it. =p

Bioshock was twisted for obvious reasons. Of course, that game was just twisted in general. We need more games like that... oh wait..... :P *********SPOILER********* Just to be clear I'm talking about the little round of golf towards the end and the whole "would you kindly" thing. TheEldestGod

Drakengard's "alternative" ending. I know they said it was an optional, alternative ending and all...but gosh.....gosh...XD Spoilers in the link. No one can say Enix is a softy! Anyways, after playing the game for over 40 hours of usual warfare, this little twist more than insane. lol

Bioshock, Uncharted (The second one was honestly kind of obvious for me.) KOTOR.

KOTOR especially.

In MGS2 when you play as Raiden naked whilst the colonel is gone mad, contacts you via codec and asks you to stop playing the game. At the time I was like @_@ 'ok'. Playing as Raiden in the nude was definitely twisted.

Tales of ... comes to my mind. In almost every Game there's at least one point where you think *OMFG, the whole story just gets started*

the first time i saw a ghoul(zombie) in one of the metro tunnels in the D.C ruins in fallout 3 but now i've played the game so much im not freaked out anymore

Silent Hill 2 takes the cake, for me. [spoiler] When you find out that James(main character) smothered his bedridden wife, Mary. Everything falls beautifully in to place when that comes out. [/spoiler] raven_squad

In a good way, I loved Bioshock's twist in the story. Absolutely amazing!

Final Fantasy 7 for its, well, you know :P

The Darkness PS3 [spoiler] You watch in first person, helplessly, as your girlfriend gets shot in the back of the head by the villian, while she was talking to you. [/spoiler]

And some i think everyone knows is pretty much any twist in the MGS games, Both Chrono trigger and chrono cross 8D.

Im just waiting for the inevitable twist that Heavy Rain will have!!

• When Emma is about to die she's like "Hal, call me Emma." And he's like "What's wrong with E.E?" And then she dies right there. And then her pet parrot is stalking him for the rest of the game. And to make a strange moment even stranger is when Otacon starts talking about how his sister's mother seduced him and all. Seriously Kojima, what is wrong with you?
• There's the part were Raiden is naked an he's just flipping all around in Arsenal Gear, and then The Colonel is on dope and just starts going crazy. "I love it what the purple eared flapjaw from space, with a tuning fork, does a raw flip on Hari Kari rock. I need scissors, 61! Then there's the whole FISSION MAILED! and all. I was freaking out and was like what the ****!

I agree about MGS2.. holy moly that was a lot for a brain to take in.. especially at 3 in the morning after playing all night.. hoo nelly!

Killer 7's ending, which tops every other WTF moment in gaming EVER in my opinion. "Would you kindly" and MGS3's ending are simply laughable in comparison.
