My roommate and I bought FIFA 11 and want to play at the same time, but using our respective PSN accounts. In other words, my roommate wants his PSN to be signed and so do I at the same time. Is this possible?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

They should update this, 360 has had it since launch, I don't know why this wouldn't have been an obvious thing to include at launch.
I'm pretty sure this is another one of those things that M'soft has a patent for. I remember that they couldn't do it because of a patent issue. Not entirely sure though, I could be wrong. They should update this, 360 has had it since launch, I don't know why this wouldn't have been an obvious thing to include at launch.

You have to sign in to your account before you can load the game, and since you can only sign in to one account at the time, what you want is unfortunately not possible Sorry. :(ChiliDragonThat's not true. Multi-account support is left up to developers. Some games like Resistance 2 and LBP support it, but I'm not sure if FIFA does.

A buddy and I did this on Resistance 2 co-op so that we would both level up at the same time, and both stay leveled up for next time.

Why isn't this supported by more games?

I remembered my wife and I using our respective accounts on LBP.

Because, like most neato features like that, Sony does not require it like MS does. Heck trophies weren't even required at first.

Resistance 2 was supporting multi-account in coop mode, I confirm. If it's let to the developper, it doesn't surprise me that there's not so much game that support it. After all, online gaming is so popular that not so much people share their screen to play online...

They patched that in after its release. As far as the reasoning goes, I don't know. Waybe it's harder to implement on PSN, or maybe developers are too lazy to do it when they aren't required to.
