i just met up with an old old friend, and we wanted to play some god of war, and i brought my god of war 2 with me to play that too, when we got to this crib i was expecting a ps3, but nooooooooooooooo he had the same exact ps2 since the first time ps2 was launch he had his since launch!!! heres a pic old tv to magvox or somethin like that , but i laughed at him and i was dude trade that in and invest in a ps3, so after 5 hrs of tryin to tell him to upgrade he finally got one, but he till keepin his ps2 and he says works like a charm and it does lol, but damn he had it since launch!!

I still have my original PS2 sitting under my desk... Not a launch PS2, but I got it about 6 months after launch and have yet to have a single problem. I'm still keeping it around for Guitar Hero... That is, until Guitar Hero 3 is released (provided, of course, the wireless controller works with GH1+2)

And what IS the point of this thread? The guy had a PS2... so what?

well i did mention hes gettin a ps3? lol , and the point basically was, ps2 is still reliable, and so is the ps3JoKeR_421

Well he is gonna put taht ps2 to rest when he gets the ps3 so yeah tell him to start a funeral for it lol.

congradulations...? well i could start a thread about how my ps1 on launch still works like a charm and so does my ps2.

but this is a ps3 thread.... whatever im expecting my ps3 to be alive for then ext 20-30 years

You've obviously not seen my blog or sig...

this story is in contrast to my ps2 which died after about 2 years each time, had to buy about 3 ps2's. Probably because of my brothers damaging it daily so i cant blame sony i suppose. ahhh good memorys.

btw why is everyone so tight about what people post and wether or not it wastes time? half the threads on here waste my time but i dont complain, so get a life, its only a forum.

Sooo whats your beef? Sony makes sturdy systems. My ps2 from launch is sittin right by me.

i still have my PS2 from that day 2...

...its now in the basement...my PS3 is hooked up to my 50inch Sony LCD which is in the family room....if any fool thinks to steal my ps3 ps2 or any of my stuff he wil die...

Whats the big deal? I still have my PS2 fatty from launch day and it still works perfectly. i have it standing right below my PS3. On the attic i also still have a PS1 from 1997 wich only fault is thatit cant play AMV's very well.

Its not a big deal as long as you dont abuse it.
