UFC Demo...WOW!!!!

So far I'm enjoying the demo (I only played it once so far.) Where is the tutorial?

I didn't even know the demo for this game existed and was actually released lol. But, I am going to play the demo and let you know what I think.

I had no interest in it at all, despite being a big mma fan. I decided to download the demo just to see, and I'm hooked. It's most definetely a day one buy for me. Not overly realistic, but great fun.

this game is far more amazing than i thought it would be... soooo siick

Even as a huge MMA fan, I had big worries how this game would play, but I was pretty blown away by it. Trying to capture a sport such as MMA would be very hard, but I thought it was captured really well, especially for a first try.

UFC 2009 Undisputed will most definitely be mine on day one.

It's even more fun if you play with a friend. My buddy and I were laughing our balls off playing this, when he kicked my ass, and when I kicked his ass. It'll be a great game to play when there's a group of people around.

Put the difficulty up as high as it goes and see how easy it is then, everything has to be perfect to throw a high leg kick or else you will be countered with one right back at ya.

Damnit now I have too buy this and Red Faction as well, there's to many good games coming out in the next few months.

I've spent the last 90 minutes trying to make Chuck tap but I just couldn't do it. The game is addictive as hell.

The UFC wishes was the first try at a video game. They failed miserably a couple years back. This game does seem promising tho and i am also very impressed by the demo. Probably a purchase for me in may.

got the demo and i've to say how amazing the game looks and play. everything looks so damn realistic and the gameplay is solid, the only small problem that i've right now is that in replay sometimes you cannot see a punch or a flying knee connect to an opponent. other than that , this game is what all the ufc fans been waiting for ages.

Yeah, this game is outrageously fun...i'm not sure how it'll hold up in the long run tho.

Some of my predicted problems with the game is that each fighter won't be unique enough, but I can't see that vividly happening...some of the characters are differentiated in that (drawing speculation from the demo) chuck has good takedown and submission defense, while Rua has good BJJ skills (but can't do throws, since BJJ guys apparently can't throw, but wrestlers/judo ppl like chuck can! which is a nice touch) - almost reminiscent of their reali life counterparts.

Another big prob with the game is the stiff animations...and the game reminds me of rock and sock 'em robots when the fighters are duking it out on the feet.

The big plus is that the controllers are somewhat deep and intuitive, and that the devs got most of the heart of what MMA rly is (especially the grappling aspects of it - from positions/transitions to clinching, etc). MAJOR kudos to the devs!

I'lll wait for the review, but this game is just fun...went over the to a friend's place to play it, and we were screaming at all the crazy stuff that happened during our 5 or so matches. Was good fun.

Another prob i had with the game is that to get out of a submission, to resist a takedown, or to avoid clinches, u basically hav to button mash has much as u can...wish there were also actual button combos in the game too....surprisingly with all these probs the game was fun =S

I think the game isn't as good as everyone is making it out to be. I also don't like how the refs don't push your fighter off once they can clearly see they are ko'd and you are still punching. In real UFC the refs usually pull the winner off if they are smashing the opponent. The people move like molasses also. I know its just a demo and I have been watching UFC for many many years now.

Great demo, could have done with extra two fighters for differing styles but hooked anyway, downside is replay camera is a bit iffy
