Right now I have about $130 I want to spend on two games, and im getting motorstorm for sure, but im unsure if I should get vegas first and wait to get some extra $$$ for oblivion or get oblivion and wait to get vegas. Thoughts?
dude that is a really hard dicision but if you want to spend a lot time on a game and save up for the other one i would recommend Oblivion but Vegas is sweet to. So (this is tough)
I'm not a big racing fan (though I do like to watch people play those), so I'm planning to get R6: Vegas and Oblivion to compliment my Virtua Fighter 5 :D

That is true....but Vegas' online mode is supposed to be pretty sweet which could potentially take up more of your time.
I think I will buy Oblivion just because I will have Motorstorm, and Resistance to keep playing online until I get the $$$. Besides, I really dont have a good single player game yet.

oblivion, you wont be bored for a long long long time and while your having fun with oblivion you will be getting money for vegas.
I have the same exact dilema. When Oblivion was going to be originally released, it was March 13 so I was happy. But now they changed it to the same date as Vegas so that caused a problem. Well if I was you I would get Vegas first then Oblivion. Vegas has multiplayer functions so you won't be far behind from anyone else. For me, I already preordered Oblivion so I will get Oblivion first.
It depends what you're looking for. They'll both suck up a lot of your time, but for different reasons. If you want a fun online/multiplayer game, go for Vegas. If you want a compelling single player game, then get Oblivion.

I have both games on the 360 and Oblivion is a great game and you might be playing to for a long time, or it might get old soon or once you do most of the main quests. Rainbow Six Vegas has a good single player game, co-op through the SP, co-op for terrorist hunt, and great multiplayer. I don't know how the multiplayer will be on the PS3 though.
ugg Oblivion and Vegas both come out months late after i've already played them. I wanted them for the ps3 but didn't feel like waiting for a copy or underachieved port once again. I hope the games at least turn out decent though so those that do not have a 360 can enjoy them.
