may be a better use of your time ;)

yesterday, i brought my PS3 into my garage and used an air compressor hooked up to an air gun and blew out all the dust from my vents and memory card slots. i usually do this to both my PS3's every month. now its super quiet again.

Same problem with my PS3 and HDTV. Shiny black surfaces show dust up horrifically, and you have to use something specific to clean them or you'll get scratches.

I tend to find those static dusters are soft enough not to scratch and remove all traces of dust.

They're cheap too.

Just a little tip for ya!

My HDTV came with a schamois cloth or however you spell it. The antistatic super smooth ones. Funnily enough i can use my older brothers car ones too (he done up a car to show quality and uses uber quality cleaning gear)

own a clean Ceramic White but i still have to wipe it around once a month because you can see few black small hair like dust.what else? I'm not sure if everyone notice this or no. your almost become lovely "wife" here may frequently have this oil like thing that can give black stain on its white skin. it can be wiped clean though maybe because of it's still 4 months old.

the draw back for ceramic white? well, I've to clean my white joy-pad more often than black type. why? well, because it's white you can easily see black dead skin after using it like few weeks.

strangely, i like to clean my ps3..... i dunno why? because of its look or expensive so i have to take care of it.
