american football gets bad press because its closest rival is rugby which is getting even more popular since 2003. we don't expect football (the one where peopleuse their feet)to be big in the states even with david beckham (see that tackle...ouch).
tell you what though, there are some decent americans in the PL right now...

Actually I'm from blighty and I've started to enjoy American Football:) Why it's called football still defies understanding (as there is more kicking in rugby football...) but it's fun to watch.
I like the tactical side of it (even tho my understanding of the rules is limited beyond novice) but I can't for the life of me see why people would want to play it as a game sry:(
