Ultimate Warhawk Burns

What's the most complete dose of ownage you've yet inflicted on a fellow Warhawk player?

The best one I can recall happened the other day.

I just hopped into a game and I was semi-afk talking on the phone. I spawned at the northernmost spawn point in the badlands, where all the hangars are. Some guy in a jet is trolling the area and spots me. I don't move as he hovers lower and lower over me, so he figures I am afk and hops out, presumably for a knife kill. L1 puts a grenade right in his mug (what's it called in Resistance? Target bomber?) and he dies instantly. I hop in his jet, fly over the peak to the right of the base and pick up the TOW. I let it go, steering it slowly towards their base so I can catch the healthbars of any foot soldiers scampering away. Boom. Two dead, and guess who one of them is? That guy, who just spawned back in. I had no idea, but I'm sure he was cursing my name. I've killed 4-6 people with a TOW saving the flag many a time, but it doesn't make for much of a story.

My best "I got owned" story was just really frustrating because he never killed me directly, but I ended up running into at least 8 of his air mines. He just happened to put them in really well-concealed places, and I couldn't avoid them. Argh!

Hehe, great story. My best ownage story... hmm. OH easy.

Island Outpost, I had spawned in one of the small bases near the bridges and picked up mines. I headed to the bridge that has a tunnel on the Chernov side, capped the flag and kept running, no vehicles had spawned. At that time the Chernovs took our flag and fled in a jeep towards their base, I at that moment had just finished laying mines in the tunnel on their side. Not thinking anything of it I kept laying mines until they were fairly spread out but had good coverage. I noticed the guy in the jeep was coming across the bride I just mined so I walked into the middle of the road and just stood there, making myself an easy target to be run over. He took the bait and lined up with me, at a few meters from me he hit the mines and his debris flew past my character... good mine justice. Ended up saving the flag too.

Mine usually revolve around one of these repeating scenarios:

1. Mines. Laying them on flags in Zone games, or on landing platforms, or my favorite, sneaking into an enemy base with them, laying one down, then parking a tank or jeep over it. throwing them on active turrets is also fun, instant kill as opposed to grenades.

2. Spying on a center base map (Archipelago is great for this) with the binoculars, and blowing up people that climb into the turrets. You can also do this in the Badlands, landing on the cliffs around the center base or enemy bases. The missile launcher also works well for this, as you can just go hide around the other side of a cliff, and blow up any plane that is dumb enough to come after you.

3. Doing the same with a tank. Tank sniping is evil fun, and the joy of blowing up a plane with a tank is great.

my first game really ...

I was on a cliff part in a green map (dont know the map names) And I'm running about and a jet hovers over me and shoots so I hide behind a rock..

He descends in the canyon and I jump on him and throw a grenade on him... He flys up I slide of on the floor and he hovers on ground level in the cliff so I toss another grenade and he blows up.

I was quite impressed with myself specialyl since it was my first map.

Me Pwning

-I was driving a tank in archipalego and this one Chernovan is backing up as I'm coming towards him and he falls off the edge.

-Crashed into another plane

I haven't had the game long enough to have an good ownage (I just got it on sunday) story but i'll give it a try anyway.

So I was playing a TDM game, and this guy kept on team killing me. He was standing on a tower just slashing people as they walked up. After dying like 3 times, I ran to a tower next to him, picked up a sniper and put a bullet in his head. A few minutes later he comes back (this time on the other team) and he starts following me (I was on a WarHawk). So I used my tubro, did a barrel roll and targeted him with my homing missle. Afterwards he kept on trying to kill me but he never really did succed.

the most memorable ownage ive dished out is the one time that three warhawks ganged up on me and i was forced to land with only a machine gun, once on the ground they proceded to shoot at me with swarm missile, and mgs. luckely for me one of them laid an air mine. i shot the air mine and all three of them died!!!

The best moment of pwnage i've ever had just happened today, it was unranked on Destroyed Capital, CTF, they had almost their flag returned when i crashed into them with a warhawk, hopped out with a flamethrower and killed all 5 of the guys that were standing around the flag, (which i then quickly grabbed) there were two more guys running up side by side so i killed them with a single grenade, grabbed their flag and almost made it back to our base, but since it was unranked one of my A-hole teamates just killed me and took the flag for himself.

still though, it was awsome seeing like 7+ kills pop up all in succession, i could hear my teammates going "F*** YEAH!!" in my mic.
