Sorry I don't own a PS3 (YET!!!) but does it look like the SixAxis has a attachment slot for something!? How could they promise vibration function like that (for God of War).

If they implement it, they'll just release a new controller and phase out the SixAxis.
maybe add a rumble add-on that plugs into the sixaxis's usb input but have an input on the rumble add-on so that the usb cord could plug into the rumble to charge the pad. Sort of like a rumble pak.

I guess all games will require a 250MB update that will install rumble features somewhere on your HDD, therefore take up space and loading time whenever a game loads?
