In the US, there are everywhere, where I live anyway. 7/11 has them, I also think Gamestop has them now, if you check the website they say they have them in stock.
Personally, I think this is one of Sony's worst moves. They're out in Japan, scarsely released in the US, and slim to none are out in Canada.

True. At least we can say technology-wise, the PS3 and the PSN has been able to handle them for 1-2 years (for as long as Japan has had them). Should be a question for Sony [USA | Canada | Australia]...
