Unable to play Kingdom Hearts 2 on my 80 Gig PS3, any help here?

Well, as usual Sony is unable to provide me with a clear way finding a solution but here is the deal

I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 not too long ago when I took a hiatus to play Halo or something. Between that time (January-ish) and now Sony must have released a system update that does not agree with my game because it is definately not working. The game looks like it is about to load when it suddenly goes to a black non-responsive screen. Any tips guys and gals?

My Australian 60gb ( same BC as NA 80gb) plays Kingdom Hearts 2 fine. Infact i played through the enitre game less then a fortnight ago and my brother played through about 10 hours ...

Ahh the aussies, they say fortnight.

Anyways, I have yet to retry KH, but the CD looks fine to me. I might as well go do it now
