I wouldnt be surprised if they went back to Jak after Uncharted 2. There's no way that franchise'll die....I just pray it doesn't get outsourced. Same can be said of Sly Cooper once Sucker Punch is done with Infamous.

It would be insane to waste such a good franchise.

I think its an awesome game too. But I hate cash-in sequels *CoughRatchetCough*. Knowing Naughty Dog it should be a pretty drastic change from the first one though. Jak II was gameing gold for me.

I think its an awesome game too. But I hate cash-in sequels *CoughRatchetCough*. Knowing Naughty Dog it should be a pretty drastic change from the first one though. Jak II was gameing gold for me.
Well it can't be THAT much different. I trust Naughty Dog enough not to worry about Uncharted 2 and try to think about ways the game could do differently. I have total fate in them.
Hmmm, what if was an open world instead of broken up into chapters, nah. Nathan gets dark powers from an aztecian aztec goobly eye statue! :o Elena flies airplanes now and only says one line, "Don't forget to count to five!". Our favorite crazy pirate is back and is part robot!

Drastic changes? Like what? I wouldn't mind some fantastic new characters and maybe a new environment/location, but i can't see why the gameplay itself would need drastic change. It was really fun. Besides, what drastic change should there be? Making it a sandbox game, for example, would utterly ruin the cinematic feel that was Naughty Dog's goal from step one. I'm not even sure if i'd be behind equipment/weapon/character upgrades.
If the game doesn't do anything truly new then I start to feel like I could just be playing the previous game with the same results. Its almost a waste of money. If Uncharted 2 just follows the same plot scenario, throws in new enemies, and a new location why would that take 2 years to develop? Why spend 60+ dollars on COD:WAW when you have COD4?
