Is anyone else sick of this feature? Grenades get thrown about a lot online, thats a fact. Someone is bound to get hit in the cross-fire, and I don't think we should be punished by being kicked from the game because of it. So the obvious solution is to get rid of it.

Im sick to death of having the GAU minigun thing and someone wants it too so they blow me up for it. Thats just happened in a game with me so, me being me, he got a grenade back and blew him to chunks.

Now another thing ontop of this, which has annoyed me no end, is theres a big group of us and only one guy on their team as they all left the game. So lucky for me, Im the only one that seems to be finding this poor guy and I owned him every single time we encountered, but just this one time, he nearly got the upper hand, until a nicely placed nade sent him packing, which then caused a car to explode which then killed one of my team mates. I got kicked for it. Yet at the start of the match someone killed me twice with one and then that loser killed me for my gun and both of them are still playing.

Don't come at me with all this "its realistic crap" because I can unleash a pound of lead in to someone and that don't do goose egg so there :P

Summary being, its irritating to have done to you accident or not (in most cases its not) and vice versa. Agree?

friendly fire is an option. if you dont want it on make a custom game and turn it off. ive never been kicked for killing my own team. not that i do it a lot but it does happen from time to time. ive been killed by my own team quite a bit. never seen it done on purpose necessarily like you said to get a gun. although if i feel it was deliberate or just some moron who sucks i get even.

gotta be honest though team killing doesnt happen nearly as much in games im in as you make it sound in yours.

I don't always want to make a custom game, sometimes I just want to have a quick match against a load of strangers. I've been kicked three times for it now, both accidental from chain reactions and I have lost count how many times I've been killed. I just don't see why it can't be taken out, what do you get from it? What are the pro's to being able to kill or be killed by your own team mates?

Well the pro's to it are that it adds another level of challenge to the more hardcore gamers. But like the other dude said, don't join games with that option enabled.

Well fair enough you've scraped the barrel and come up with a reason, but i'd say the pro for getting rid of it FAR out-weights against. Maybe you'll feel different when you're unlucky enough to get into a game with an idiot that kills you for your gun. And how do I avoid joining a game with it enabled? I've played loads of games and they've all had it on and its hard enough to find a game let alone find one without that enabled.

Isn't there an option to search for matches that have friendly fire set to off?

Pros of FF:

People will nade spam less.

Won't jack kills when you are next to your target.

Is a way for griefer to get kicked.

Anyways, I really don't see this as being a big deal. Friendly kills don't happen often in my games unless its a RPG match.

People won't nade spam less because frankly people don't care if they kill their team mates - unless they became more strict with the kicking but then that would be unfair to people who do it accidental. Don't understand what you mean with your second point. And don't understand what a "griefer" is.

Also, im not making a big deal out of this, i don't see how much of a big deal as to add a search filter so I can be in games where its off. Regardless of what you see in YOUR games im telling you what I see in mine and im telling you it happens often and gets very irritating.

They should make it that if you do a friendly fire kill then you can't pick up any new guns for something like one minute.

Do you have to select a option to boot people in Uncharted 2 or does the computer decide?

My faviorate team kill is on warhawk. I hate team killers but i used to laugh when i was in a jeep driving to a base when suddenly the driver randomly drive off the edge of the cliff.

...and that would be? I don't even know how to search for games with preferences. Also like I said before, I find it hard enough to find a game sometimes let alone finding ones with no friendly fire.

FF should be on. The grenades land exactly where the ARC stops and doesn't bounce one inch more.

If you have any friends party up with them and they should include a voting system.

I've only witnessed one recently. There was heavy fire going on between both teams. So what if someone threw a grenade in the wrong direction. Being kicked out of the game because of that is just plain stupid imo.

id say its 50 50 when i get into a game whether friedly fire is on. either that or nades arent as powerful against your own team.

nothing is as fun as rpging your own teammate in retailation for his stupidity. i was standing right next to some guy on my team. not moving mind you and he shot me in the back killing us both while aiming at an enemy i had already killed. needless to say i took his name and later on drilled him from halfway across the map to get even.

The idea of FF is alright its stops people just charging in in front of there team mates etc etc but it is quite easy to get a friendly grenade roll into your face or and RPG slam into your arse because someone cant aim, FF should on but the kick system should be removed and a suicide system with a longer respawn timer in its place and lower explosive damage to your team mates as well :) napa :)

Don't think I like it either but I can live with it since it doesn't happen that often. This morning I accidentally killed 2 with one grenade, I didn't even know they were there, I was just trying to kill an opponent, but yeah I would rather not have friendly fire.

Usually there is is a vote system that shows up if a teammate has killed you twice. You have either the option to boot him or not to boot him. If by accident I usually say "NO" to the vote to kick. I think people just need to get over the accidental TK's and move on. Its one thing to get killed on purpose and being killed by accident. I mean if your in a fire fight with 2-3 guys and a team mate drops a nade on top of all of you get over it, he had a good reason to do it lol. But for a gun, I would go right back there and let him kill me again and the next time I would vote that joker off.

If I'm in a RPG deathmatch and my team is dominating, I love killing my team mates for fun. :P

I disagree because being a good player, you go for the kill watch out not to kill your teamates. My suggestion to you is practise this and don't make excuses.

I hear ya. I was playingthe beta and some 8 yr. old british kid thought it would be funny to chuck a grenade at the entrie team from the start. Not only did 70% of the team have to respawn but everybody was too busy shooting back at him in anger to pay attention to the other team. I still love the online and all but it can get annoying sometimes.
