Uncharted 2 beta - how do you like it?

As far as I know its been out for a while, but I haven't seen many posts in here about it, other than people asking "why its not working" or "how do I get a beta code?", etc.

So for those of you who have played the beta, how is it??

Im very curious, because this is one of my most anticipated games and I wasn't fortunate enough to get the beta.

Well ive only been able to play the competitive MP, and havent tried the coop yet. From what ive been able to tell so far its very much like gears of war, but with that said i never enjoyed the gears MP too much so my opinion might be a bit bias'd. I personally didnt think it was fantastic by any means, and it felt like it took way too many shots to kill people. Graphics in MP were ok not nearly as good as the Single player graphics, but they werent bad by any means. Only played on two maps, and they seemed pretty varied, and interesting. They looked nice, and was spread out nicely.

Weapons seemed pretty much the same to me just different skins. I couldnt tell much of a difference between the AK-74 and the M4, but the perks system seemed pretty cool, and am hoping that there will be some new perks available when it finally releases. I am currently using the better accuracy while aiming down the sites, and more ammo perk. Some of the other perks included better hip fire accuracy, and more ammo per clip. They were all pretty much the same so im sure that the retail version will have some more interesting perks.

Overall i thought it wasnt bad, but if you are buying this game just for the MP i dont think you will enjoy it nearly as much as someone who got it for the story.

Co-op is AMAZING. That is all that needs to be known xD. The competitive multplayer is fun but lacking in content (it is a beta after all) but the core mechanics make it pretty enjoyable. The co-op though is the best i have ever played that actually requires team work and is just...well made and fun. ^.^ man i need to go play some more later...CosmoKing7717

It looks like it is pretty cool, I just checked the Gamespot preview. Just wondering though if the co-op will get repetitive, or are the missions unique each time?
Also the competitive just looks alright, not groundbreaking and seems like it would get boring fast. I could be very wrong though. especially since I havent played it!

IF you sign up as a premium user on IGN you can get a beta code. i did it yesterday and i played for hours. It was alot of fun graphics are good but not as good as the single player. it does play alot like gears of war but i loved gears of war personally. Its more tactical tho. the ability to be able to climb just about anything sets it apart from any other mp game. I noticed a difference in the guns for example the m4 has a faster fire rate than the ak47 and its more accurate. the Fal has a three shot burst and a dot sight which i love. the desert eagle is just plain deadly. My only complaint is it takes quite a few shot to kill someone, and grenades are kinda over powered... but ive never had a grenade thrown at me...

Extremely fun but the plunder needs reworked.

The Beta Is Beast

for multiplayer the people take too long to die

It's pretty decent. The problem is that I play CoD to much so it's kind of weird.

I'm not really bothered about it to be honest, it's just a day one buy for me for the single player.
