Uncharted 2 DLC Info... Some Will Be Free, Some Will Cost $$$...

I'm hoping for more maps on Co-Op objective (Only 2 maps currently, I believe), the train mission on co-op objective would be sweet...

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has been a HUGE success both by critical and commercial standards ever since its recent release and according to Naughty Dog Creative Director Amy Hennig the game has even exceeded the developer's own expectations. So, one would expect further support for the title that's taken the industry by storm, and as Hennig explained to IndustryGamers.com, fans won't have to wait long to experience more from the world of Uncharted 2 in the form of some new DLC. "We're working on that now, and what we're prepared to say is that there will be DLC available before the end of the year." stated Hennig. "Without going into specifics, it'll involve new maps, new characters, things like that. Some of it will be free of charge and some of it will be purchasable. We've got a lot of people on the team working on this stuff, some really cool stuff that people will be excited about. So we're definitely taking it very seriously."

That's nice to know. I hope they make some DLC for the SP campaign. I like the MP, but let's be realistic here. There's no way I'm even gonna touch it after 11/10.

he meant that the free DLC will be full redistribution of "pre-order bonuses" that only those who pre-odred UC2 received in the past (i.e. golden ak47).

with which, i disagree with. I mean, they "might" let us download those pre-order bonuses, but i also think ND will give us at least one free co-op map.

I'd definitely pay for some more co-op objective levels.

See this is the problem with gamers today. To everyone saying"man as soon as 11/10 drops its over", my question is why??? What people can't play more then one online game at the same time??? It seems to me most gamers suffer from ADD, because as soon as the newest game comes out every other game is forgotten even if the multiplayer is good. I can't wait for DLC for U2 bring it on!!! U2 will be in heavy rotation even after MW2 drops at least in my PS3.

I'm willing to pay for DLC, as long as it includes some new maps, maybe a new mode or two and some party system upgrades or something.

Co-op objective missions won't be coming anytime soon. so its likely to be skins and new maps at this point. I'd pay 10 bucks to be able to play as Jak (I hope he doesn't cost ten bucks cause that would a be a slap in the face to the fans).

Yeah they've already said that. It takes a long time for them to make those (thus why there is only 3 on the game). They may try to add some new ones but due to the time and effort it won't be anytime soon.

I would like to see

• More Co-op objective Maps
• Ability to play under Crushing health in competitive (you can do this already but only for custom games)
• Sniper Rifles and Pistole only mode for the TDM
• Some new maps from some of the levels on Uncharted 1
• Ability to select a clown skin under the villains for competitive (You'll get that if you've beaten the game)
• Character skins from UC1 (Eddy, Navarro, Elana's other outfit)

More maps, more skins, possibly more game modes, all of which I'm willing to pay for.

There was in the beta version. I have not played the objective modes yet but I haven't seen one in TDM. I know if you go to Custom Game you can put that option with your friends and play. Same with the Crushing Health

if they add 1. Create a Player 2. Custom Soundtracks 3. jumping in/out lobbies 4. in game txting 5.16 players i'll buy Uncharted 2 now. but they cant charge for my list.PSP107

The only characters needed are the ones from the series, the idea would ruin the game.

3. can't you jump in and out of lobbies already?

4. texting would be rubbish, people standing still al over the place.

5. 16 players would be too chaotic

I'd like to get splitscreen for the offline campaign. That would be #1 on my wishlist. I guess the FPS couldn't keep up?
