The first one was great, but the second one was spectacular. Also, while I want to own the third game, now's a bit too early for that.I don't get whats the big deal about uncharted i played the 1st one at my cousins and it was good but wasn't really that good >.>

The first one was spectacular, the second fixed the few problems the first had and was amazing, I expect the 3rd to be just as solid. They seem to be on a 2 year cycle, so next year is looking pretty good for it. Sepewrath
It looks like we will get an Uncharted 3 next year. Nolan North has said that they started work on the third game this year, and that he and Emily Rose will be reprising their roles as Elean and Drake. Also a spanish site, not the most reliable site of course posted a october 2011 for the release but i will take Nolan norths word over theirs. I think we will see a trailer too as well for the game, the first teaser at the Spike awares like we did for UC2 back in 2008. So I say keep an eye on it, and not matter what a UC3 is guaranteed.
I been playing UC2 alot lately, and I have to say its a wonderful game with a great fun story, wonderful characters and just polished and technical achievements. Amy Hennig is one of the best storytellers in gaming, she has been since the 90s, she did help mastermind the Legacy of kain games, and it looks like she is behind UC franchise....so its great to see this.
A replayable single player otherwise I'm out. Some games I can't play it over again. I know some people have their point of view saying their is, well was it because of the trophies, not the same story/gameplay all over again.
Uncharted 1 and 2 were great games but however once done on the DVD collection for years.
Your very likely out then, Uncharted is built like a movie, that doesn't leave a lot of room for player interpretation.A replayable single player otherwise I'm out. I would like to see more depth in the storyline; it was pretty clique and followed the same blueprint as Uncharted 1 in the sense that Drake is looking for something, villian is also looking for the same thing and wants to kill you, crazy monster things come out of nowhere, the thing your looking for is not exactly what your looking for. Uncharted 2's storyline was executed very well but it felt to much like an action movie. Nonstop-MadnessGenre=action/adventure

Imo thats the thing, the way they handle cliches and turn it into a pretty good story... i liked indiana jones back in the old days... similar style UC is but like waaaay better. UC3 need? Now thats a stupid question lol.

IMO that was the point, Uncharted 2 felt like an action movie, because it was emulated to that equivalent in a game. Uncharted 2=Action game. Each games have different style of story telling, and some will go slower, some will not. Simple as that...say Heavy Rain is a psychological thriller, and it has that tone. Red Dead Redemption feels like a a dark surreal western, which it means to cover. JRPGs, have very animeish style stories to tell, its just like movies and books. different genres have different gameplays, and intend to tell different stories...simple as that.
Yeah I wantz me some U3, but I hope they dont mess it up. You know after all the praise ND got last year it possible that they are still high on them self and that think they can make another GOTY easilyRTUUMMI would agree. The first got GOTY and now the second got it as well. how many game devs have 2 GOTY's in a row? Or in the same series no less? NO ONE.
