I'm about to go on my final trophy run, skipping easy and hard (just finished again on normal), and I wondered if you guys could give me any tips. Let's just say I'm not the best at this game ;) Any help would be appreciated :)

I beat it :D i didn't even know there was a crushing difficulty, my trophys for the game are on 0% for some reason, so i'll try it on crushing, when i replay it soon.

A shame you didn't play hard. It teaches you how to play the game normally since Crushing isn't to much harder; normal mode you can just wing it.
1) Don't expose yourself during gunfire. When you do expose yourself don't do it longer than absolutely necessary.
2) 95% of the time its a bad idea to advance on the enemy. Most times you need to fall back, lose ground, and get better cover which should mean they will come to you one at a time.
3) Fire without aiming. Doing this doesn't expose you to enemy gunfire & is an effective way of downing enemies who are approaching you while you're taking cover and you have no where to run.
Pretty much the three basic game winning tips I learned while playing on hard & crushing.
Use the infinity ammo trick, once you run out of bullets, go into rewards and select they gun you want to get ammo for, once you go back to playing you will have your ammo replenished. ( note that you cannot select guns if you are in cover mode)

Not on crushing dude. You mean that you can't use any extras on crushing? That makes me a sad panda. :( You can't use weapon select past hard mode. Its called crushing for a reason. I'm not sure about other extras though.. I'm guessing you can change costumes, filters and stuff like that, but you can't use anything that makes the game easier.
I am working my way through it. On Chapter 5 and it is not that much harder that Hard except that you lose more health. I found enemy damage was the same. And I use the trick where you do not go in cover but you stand in front of the cover and aim so the cover wall is blocking you and you can still see them and shoot. Works alot.

What? That makes absolutely no sense to me... but I'd like to see that handy trick if you can link to a video or explain it in more detail.
Why would you cheat, if you bought a game with you're own money. Unless you're collecting trophies (which is useless), i'd play a game for fun damn it...what has this world come to?
Crushing is hard, but you get used to it and you get the hang of it. Don't rush out a lot always have a good close weapon and a good far one and try and aim for headshots. There were some parts that took me a while to do with multiple deaths, but after practicing and memorizing I got used to it and beat them. It takes time to do crushing so have patience.
