I have been trying to unlock those two trophies for the longest time. I think i am doing it right but the game isn't awarding me, i shoot the lackies twice then i go up to them slowly because i dont wanna do the drop kick or the lunging straight and sometimes i hit them with a single blow. I have done this numerous times and nothing has happened. someone plz help me out, i want 3 more trophies then i can trade him in and get amongs thieves.
Run up to an enemy, shoot without aiming then punch him. You might also want to check out ps3trophies.org as they have tropy guides with videos showing you the best places to get trophies, such as the one your after.
on ambushed(first level in the game) when pirates start getting on ur boat run up on each one and just shoot at them and just press square when theyre close enough to hit boom there u go thatll get u the two fighter

tell you the truth i wouldnt take the chance but thats because ive beaten it like 10 times lol but what i tell u is that just try it and if it seems to be acting up stop the game right away

ok maybe this can help you!... a friend used to have the same problem. and it was cuz of an error on the game. he deleted teh game data and all info. and replayed the game. and in a few istants he got the iron fist trophy (sry for the bad english XD)

Use the standard 9mm that you get at the beginning of the game. Run straight toward the enemy and shoot from the hip (only using R1) TWICE. Then, hit Square and it's lights out. Two shots and a punch is all you should need.
Also, the Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle is what I have. The game should be fine as long as you have 3.01 downloaded and installed.
These trophies won't unlock for me either. I know I'm doing it right because the steel fist medals unlock if I don't download the trophy patch.x-2tha-z
You need to download the trophy patch before starting the game. Medals will unlock regardless, but since it was one of the games to receive trophies post-release you need to download the patch to unlock them.

I think you may have misunderstood what I meant. I know you have to download the trophy patch to get trophies in Uncharted. I've unlocked over 80% of Uncharted's trophies but the steel fist trohies won't unlock. The medals unlock if I don't install the trophy patch, but if I install the patch and start a new game, all the other trophies will unlock but steel fist won't.

I am doing it right. As I've already said, twice, the steel fist medals unlock if I don't install the trophy patch, so I'm obviously doing it right. Once I install that patch, they won't unlock. I'm not bothered about them anyway. I just wanted to let the TC know he's not the only one having problems with these trophies.

Hmm....that IS really weird. I'm not quite sure what's up. Your best bet is to check the forums at Playstation's Official Site and see if other people are having similar problems. Or, easier yet, just Google. Sorry as to not being able to answer your question.
If youre after easy platinums go for terminator salvation (takes round 4hours), trivial pursuit(another 5hours) and burnout paradise(takes a while but VERY easy)

I have the MGS4 bundle and never had any problem with Uncharted although I can't remember whether I played it before the System Update... When was the last Update? To answer TC, on the very first chapter, on the boat, that's the best spot, shoot from the hip (without aiming) then punch. You can try to get all 5 guys in a row, or take one out, die, and take another out, and die again, etc...
They have the same trophies in Uncharted 2. I was playing Uncharted 2 before and trying to get them. I just need to get the one where you get 10 in a row.
