i expected 3 games to be rated M. heavenly sword, lair, and uncharted a little bit. i expected uncharted sorta to get M because of its blood, lots of language (i think in one video a guy said s**t) and the melee combat of ramming ur gun in someones stomach, and kneeing them in the balls. here is the link, its rated T for blood, language, mild suggestive themes, use of tobacco, and violence

Exactly! I was afraid that all high quality titles were going to start being "mature". Fortunately that does not seem to be the case for Sony at least.

I didn't expect Uncharted to be Mature. Heavenly Sword I did until I watched the videos and realized it's not a gorefest like GOW. T rating didn't stop Heavenly Sword from being awesome, and it won't stop Uncharted or Ratchet and Clank either.

We have plenty of Mature games on the way... Killzone, GTA, Unreal Tournament, Half Life... if all that makes a game mature are some F-bombs for the sake of it, it's a waste of a rating. GTA does it right.

Anyway if the game ratings are similar to movie ratings, you can say sh** all you want in a PG13, but more than one F-bomb makes it R.

But it's strange ! Blood, gun fight against men... It's not Rachet and Clanck or Crash. thuile

You basically need either:

1) A lot of foul language, including the "F-word".

2) Drug references

3) Sexual content or nudity (God of War secret room)

4) Gore, like heads exploding and whole bodies turning into bloody giblets (Unreal)

You can kill guys, have blood, say sh**, imply a sexual relationship through innuendo, but if their head splits open, its an M game. Go figure.

its because politicians hate rated M games for some reason, so game companies are starting to secretly pay the ESRB to rate their games T :D [SIZE=8]lol jk[/SIZE]

Teen, come on Naughty Dog, what Teen can afford gaming on the ps3. This game should be geared towards adults!!! Blood, Violence, Nudity, language. All would up this game a bit. TJSAGE

They are lowing ratings to hover at the edge of T in order to gain more sales. Honestly, I like it better this way. No need to be kind of embarassed around your parents and younger ones. Makes you look like a blood thirsty weirdo to others when games are too violent.GambitRox
