graphically speaking nothing can touch Crysis right now. But Uncharted has amazing visuals, and more importantly it has awesome third person shooting gameplay that makes it better then Crysis in my opinion.
If you just take screenshots like that, then yes, Uncharted is graphically very comparable. But I bet if we were watching movies of both of them running, Uncharted would look much smoother. Its not hard to bump your gfx settings to max to make your still frames more prettyful on the pc :P Uncharted can get close to it like that because it is a very linear game. Crysis is rendering a giant honking jungle that you can run anywhere in. They're just very different games. Uncharted is the better game though :P
ley me say this graphyc wise... uncharted is really good.. nice motions and all.. but i've seen in real time.. and played cyrsis on highest settings(on my friends pc) and dx10... and its just breath taking.... though here is a thing... uncharted with the ps3 runs fine no problems... my friend just bought a pc worth 4000$ and he can run crysis at highest settings though sometimes there are slow downs.. so in my opinion crysis is awesome but u need a 4000 pc to really enojoy it other wise youll miss a huge part of the game visuals... uncharted for 400$ plus 60$ the game..you can see it on full...anyway i heard rumors...(rumors.. ) and seen in an interview... that crytek mayremakecrysis for ps3 seen as from what they say is the only console capable of running it... dont remember in wich interview.. but i've seen it on gamespot or gametrailers
No contest graphically, nothing on a console can touch Crysis or many other PC games. They simply just don't have the power to keep up. That said, I like games like Ratchet and Clank that don't wow you with tech specs, but that wow you with artistic design :) Oh, and the tech specs are pretty "wowwing" as well :)
At a glance Uncharted's "jungle" environments look nice, however it's really just a boxed in area with some trees and nice lighting to give the effect of being in a jungle. Whereas Crysis's jungles are the most part, fully explorable and fully destructable, plus Crysis has a lot more "Close up" detail due to the fact that it's an FPS.
I would have to say no...I mean, UDF does look awsome but it's really not pushing the PS3 hardware. Now on the other hand I do think the planned sequel will start to show us what the ps3 does have underneth it hood.
No... just no. If anything, Uncharted is just our Tomb Raider Legend. I'm not entirely sure why this game is as popular as it is. But, then again, I was never a Tomb Raider fan and this game reminds me a LOT of Tomb Raider.
