Uncharted is overated

Why does everyone like this game so much it has texture issues and not great a.i, platforming bits are good as is the story and its fun for a play through but no way essential or long lasting. Warhawk & resistence are way better.

Everyone has different tastes .. I thought Uncharted was awesome .. but I also liked Resistance better ..

SO....it still looks better then most games (if you have a really nice HDTV) It's just a fun awesome game....I love it!

i agree we all have different taste i like uncharted but i thought resistence was the worst insomniac game (which doesn't mean much cause insomniac makes amazing games).

How could you say that about Uncharted? I think Uncharted deserved the review it got. But still, like some of you said, not as good as Resistance, and I don't know about Warhawk. I've never played it.

That is just more than enough info on not only how much you played it, but in which difficulty too.

It's so hard to get that into people's head! People don't understand that there ain't such thing as a good or bad game, a good or bad movie, etc. There is no universal standards! Nothing in life makes universal unanimity therefore people should like/dislike things only for themselves and stop comparing tastes.

Concerning Uncharted, I played the demo and loved it. I've also seen a couple of cinematics on YouTube and they really blew me away. If the game had online multiplayer, I would definitely buy it.

It took me 3 months to actually start liking the game, and now I can't get enough of it.

I think that shooters are a waste of time.

I'm used to Crysis, COD4, UT3 and Gears level of graphics on a PC so I didn't find Uncharted graphics special at all. Gameplay wise I thought it was decent, but nothing special.nohnaimer

Well I definitely thought COD4, UT3 and Gears on my PC looked much better than Uncharted. Resolution was probalby a big factor, 1920*1200 vs 1280*720.

Yeh i played through on normal once, mainly the bad guys would stand around grenades waiting for them to explode, someone fell through a rock then splashed in some water, the wow graphics are the backgrounds which arnt in the enviroment at all. Some later parts are very sloppy and fell unfinished.

I mean overated by people on here the review is about right, just when i read recomendation threads mainly i see uncharted and its no the best. also in my town one shop has over 10 pre owned copies lol. And check ebay there are way more copies of uncharted then most other games.

I think Uncharted is great. Just one kinda big problem. No replay value. Assassin's Creed suffers from the same thing.l-_-l

I actually disagree.. Uncharted is one of the only games I feel like replaying.. haven't done it yet, but might pick it up again soon

me too! And in terms of sales, it didnt to as well as some other games, which is sad. :cry:
