I'd get Uncharted. It's the best exclusive on the PS3. After get GTA IV or Burnout.T-Machine99i think you're forgetting something *cough* mgs4*cough*, but out of those shoices go with uncharted
Rent / borrow / download demos of as many of those as you possibly can. They're all reeeeeally different games, so it's kinda hard to pick jus one, it all depends on what you want out of the game.
I've never played Uncharted, so I couldn't say. GTA 4 seems to have a very loyal following, but not my style, so I stayed clear of it. Played a little UT3, but for my money, Battlefield's the better game if you're looking for a multiplayer shooter. And Burnout... well... burnout's reeeeeally long... I bought it on release date and am still plugging away at it. My only gripe with it, is that it gets a bit "same-y" after a while, but I guess thats to be expected of any racing game really. Plus, I know Burnout are due to release an update pack again that allows for custom soundtracks in-game, so that'll take away from some of the feeling of everything just being the same.
But seriously, download as many demos as you can, borrow as many of these as possible, and then make up your own mind. Pretty much everyone who's played these games is likely to have a favourite, and most of them will try to steer you towards their favourite. Get as much first-hand info as you can, and make your own choice.
I have all . Burnout is incredible . The demo doesn't make up for the real game . It is one of the most impressive racing games I've ever seen . It needs some time to come into the game though . You should be able to pick it up for a reasonable price now (and they promised full trophy support !!!)
Uncharted is beautiful but short . Maybe I'd consider a rental . I have 95% with GTA4 (just 83 pigeons to go and some friend activities) :you either love GTA or hate it , GTA4 is no different . I loved it but I loved previous games too . However, you can easily spend 50+ hours with it single player only so if you like GTA it is worth its money .
UT3 is also a little according to your taste . It is graphically one of the most beautiful games available on PS3 ( let fanboys talk about Gears textures being not possible on PS3 : UT3 is the proof they're wrong) . But if you don't play online much, it simply ain't worth it . Online it is a hectic, fast, beautiful frag fest that you should at least try once to see for yourself . I love Warfare mode .
If you only can choose one, I'd go for GTA4 (if you like it, of course) . But you can also pick up Burnout AND Uncharted for the price of one now .
I would get MGSIV first then Uncharted, GTA4 & Burnout Paradise...
also Ratchet & Clank or BattleField: BC would be a good addition to your games collection
1. Grand Theft Auto 4
2. Uncharted
3. Burnout Paradise
4. Unreal Tournement 3
Uncharted is great, but there is simply more things to do in GTA4, and it should last you longer.
