i just bought a vita and i only got UMvsC with it, since i'm playing it like crazy i'm already thinking about buying a new game or downloading it from psn;

both of the games seem to fit my taste, but i was wondering if i had to play the other uncharted games for the ps3 in order to understand golden abyss, or is this a brand new game with a brand new story??

all opinions are more than welcome! thanks in advance

Never played uncharted before its a new game. If any references to the ps3 were made they flew over my head. I haven't played ninja gaiden much.

Uncharted: GA is a prequel so it takes place before the uncharted games on the PS3. I would get that first.

Yeah, there are very few references to PS3 Uncharted games in Uncharted Golden Abyss. You can understand it without having to play any of the PS3 games.

That´s true, which means it actually makes sence to buy the PSVITA version first. I have to admit that I went to Gamestop today and bought Blazblue instead, because I got UC3, but I have not started playing it yet.

Uncharted. Enjoying it quite a bit so far, minus the parts that force you to use the touch screens.

I'd say Uncharted. It's built from the ground up for Vita and is a fantastic game even compared to its console counterparts

If you never played Ninja Gaiden get that ASAP. There's a reason this is the 4th time it's been released. One of the greatest action games of all times and it loses nothing in the Vita version. Uncharted can wait

Ninja Gaiden is the overall better game. If you've never played NG than go with that. If you've played one in the past than go with Uncharted.

Ninja Gaiden is a better game, but if you've already played it then get something else. Uncharted isn't all that good, to be honest. It's just a big name.

Just remember Ninja Gaiden is a pretty hard game, if you arent a big fan of dying then you should probably avoid it. (you could play on hero mode but whats the point then?)

I haven't played Ninja Gaiden on the Vita but I have played it on the Xbox and PS3 and as good as the game is its just a rehash on the Vita with Tecmo Koei being lazy and taking the easy way out and trying to cash in on the franchise. Uncharted whilst also part of an established series is a brand new game in the series and a far better one then Ninja Gaiden. If its a choice between those two I would go with Uncharted.

I agree, plus Ninja Gaiden is more likely to see a price drop a lot faster than Uncharted, simply because it is such an old game and after it's initial sales success, will suffer a great dip in sales. I'd hold off on Ninja Gaiden.

I disagree. Some people are too young to have played games like that, and thus it's great they rerelease it on a new system. Especially if it's such a great game.

The difference is that one is a port and one is not. Original games are usually better than older ports since they are built from the ground up for the specific platform,

The Uncharted series isn't exactly known for it's replay value. Because it is a Sony first party game, it might drop in price before Ninja Gaiden

Well no. They might look better and play smoother, but that does not make it a better game. There's a reason some games (Like Ninja Gaiden i assume) are getting rereleases. They are great games, better than the rest usually, otherwise no one would buy it. Anyway, Uncharted is fun for one playthrough, but collecting stuff is extremely boring....

This is all opinionated. I have actually played and enjoyed U2 more than most of my other PS3 games. It's been so many playthroughs, I've lost count. I'm sure U:GA will come down to $40 fairly soon, just because that was the trend with PSP games when they initially released (weren't selling well at $50, so you ultimately saw no games release that high), but NG is on it's third rerelease, on a brand new platform as well at full retail price. I doubt too many people will be looking to purchase an eight year old game with a few new bells and whistles, unless they've never played it before. It wouldn't be on my priority list to buy with my new handheld. But just as your statement was opinionated, so was mine lol.

If vita games weren't selling I could see a price drop like psp but the stores in my area are having trouble keeping them in stock. On launch day they only had 6-7 titles out of 20, I got the last ninja gaiden.

Give it 2/3 months and there will be sales. Amazon had Uncharted at their warehouse for $26

They are both good games but I would get Uncharted, I just finished it the other day and I really enjoyed it not to mention the graphics are really beautiful, you can't help but stop and look around...
