Uncharted review from Eurogamer. Must read

Eurogamer´s Kristian Reed has reviewed Uncharted and gave it a 9 out of 10. That is good news for us because this is one strickt reviewer.

And for the Sony fanboys: Mr Reed says that it graphics are better than Gears of War and if that wasn´t enough, he wonders if this game would have been possible on the 360!

Ughh, not this crap again. I agree that Uncharted is a nice looking game, but just because some dude thinks it looks better than Geasrs doesn't make it so. It's an opinion, an opinion I think is wrong.

He "wonders" if the game could be made on the 360? A graphically advanced game that lasts 8 hours? Nah the 306 doesn't have anything like that.

My argument here is not that Uncharted is bad, cause it's not, I just can't stand these posts that are total System Wars garbage. IGN didn't bother to say that Uncharted was better looking than any game, the mentioned clipping and aliasing issues, no mention of Gears or the 360 not being able to handle it.

Just play the game and enjoy it.

Though i agree a reviewer should NEVER mention another game (unless its apart of the same series, made by the same devs or a perfect clone of the game being reviewed), your 1st paragraph nearly voids the rest, that being pretty much (with the word "opinion"cunningly placed twice); "Nothin beatz GeOW foos!!" Now i'm not sure when you got your hands on Uncharted and i know damn well i havnt yet but dont you think --with your profile being so Xbox orientated-- that your comment there is alittle out of place and is asking tobe ignored?

I have my opinion on what i've seen of Uncharted upto now and what i've seen 1st hand from GeOW, but i'll keep my opinions to myself for now...

The thing is...one of the devs of Uncharted actually came out and said that this game would not fit on a normal dvd. So to make it possible on another console they would have to use multiple DVDs. Which they would not do.

Just because I have some Xbox stuff in my profile doesn't make me some fanboy, I do own a PS3, but even if I didn't it is irrelevant. I think my first paragraph makes sense and has weight. His opinion is that Uncharted looks better than Gears, I disagree and therefore "I" think it is wrong, not saying "it IS wrong", but my personal opinion. That doesn't void anything.

which is why i have always believed ps3 will surpass the 360, its just a matter of time before the good games wont fit on a simple dvd, "next gen" should mean more then upscaled dvds

graphics mean jack squat to gamespot.

and me too. the game play a lot like gears of war despite the entirely different setting ( runnign from cover to cover, gunning down lots of guys by yourself)

that being said, i enjoyed the demo and want the game

Cool deal one 9.1 and one 9. So less than a week. I hate when they say it plays like this or that thow. Why cant it be its own game. Plus I dont like hating on Gears, because who knows where that game may go latter. And I said this a long time ago. Why do you think that studio asked to make a mock FPS on the PS3 ala Haze. They dont like the arangment they have with Micro. If theirs a major move "its not going to be from bungie" its that game.

But yea Drakes has the scores and the game, now it just has to advertise more.

But it also has significant texture pop-in and tearing. That doesn't sound too good to me...monco59

I agree that eveybodyshould just play the games and enjoy them, but I just want to say that Gears doesn't look as good as uncharted. I am playing the better version of gears on the PC right now. I only bought because it received so much hype that I had to get it to see what it is all about. I will tell you that I am not impressed at all. I have an awesome PC to run it too. I think the graphics on Heavenly Sword or Uncharted are definitely better. that's my opinion.
