Uncharted Trilogy Remastered is happening? Looks like it.

Well considering UC4 is delay, This could be a make up for the delay but I do hope it happens cause your getting 3 games remastered and not just one like with God of War 3 and if this remastered is price $40, that be a deal. Hope to see an UC4 MP beta like UC3 did before.

Myself? I'm not interested, I already got the Platinum in all of those games. I might be interested for $20 down the line if a friend wants to play Uncharted MP with me on PS4, maybe...otherwise not really interested in double dipping.

I'm not a big fan of remasters across any generation, but I understand they are good for the masses, in this case the people that didn't play them last gen.

It only makes sense from a business perspective.

The only remaster left I would be interested in buying is MGS4.

These are so so awesome for people whose first console is a PS4, but for everyone else.....

Getting HD versions of older PS1/PS2 games makes sense. Is the graphical difference between PS3 version to PS4 version worth re-buying it? For all the converted ex-xbox players, I would recommend a trilogy remastered version. However it is little annoying to see Sony using this remastered tactic for extra profit.... Forget backward compatibility or putting it on PSN to download for the PS4! Just make a remastered version and charge them a lot again. Looks lazy but profitable.

Well I have had the PS3 for a very long time, and I never got around to finishing the 2nd and 3rd Uncharted games. So for me, this is great news and I hope it happens as I'd love to play through them in remastered glory. My PS3 is currently not in use, and I can't find myself going back to it haha.

That is a sin.... Having 2 amazing gems in Uncharted 2 and 3 and not finishing them. There are very few games if any that should be played ahead of Uncharted 2 and 3.

Why did you play them and not finish them? Did you not like them or were you stuck on a chapter?

I know it's a big sin, please don't kill me =[ Haha. I was just too busy with work and life in general and eventually left them behind and moved on to other games.

Not sure at this point. I guess it depends on what the price is, and what extras are included. I generally don't support remasters unless they really add something. Plus I already can play all 3 games on my PS3. I don't see myself buying them again.

No. The only Remastered collection I want is Mass Effect, everything else I'll be passing on.

At this point, nothing would surprise me as far as remasters go. We've already seen some of the most completely unnecessary remasters like Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs. Great games, but there was no real reason to remaster those. As far as the Uncharted games go... I think it'd only be good for new Playstation users. The Uncharted games already looked amazing on the PS3. The first game would benefit a bit since it's a bit older, but even that game looked pretty good for how early of a PS3 game it was. At any rate, I definitely don't plan on buying into these if it does happen. I've already played each game multiple times and I'll just wait for Uncharted 4 to see how well an Uncharted game can look on the PS4.

Our current PS3 is used more and more as a Netflix box. I can't game on it most of the time.

I would buy this in a heartbeat. It's my favorite series. If it goes for as little as $40, I'll be buying a couple extra copies for friends that didn't have a PS3.

if its lime $30 (which in sure it wouldnt be) and looked like a like a next gen game graphically id probably pick it up. but otherwise im perfectly fine with my PS3 copies

Yes please, after the uncharted trilogy remastered just remaster MGS4 and no more. Those are the best games on ps3 and I would love to play it again on my ps4 at 60fps.

Nope, these games are only good the first time I played it. The suspense and surprise factor are nonexistent the second time through, and it doesn't help that there is absolutely no replay value in it's multiplayer.

I won't. But I've already played them. This is a great opportunity for new PS owners to get into the characters and events before playing UC4 (which I strongly suspect will be the best of them due to the refinements we've seen to combat, freedom of movt, etc).

I've always had mixed feelings about the series - I love the characters and dialogue. I love the settings. But the platforming is mindless, the exploration is nil, and in UC3 the combat was very "off" feeling too. I am excited to see more freedom in where/how you can move within a "zone" in UC4 (supposedly), and the fact that combat appears more refined as well. But I think a remastered trilogy is a great idea for those who haven't played them - they are short enough to be worth it just for the Indiana Jones experience alone even if you are bugged by the quirks like I was.

Never played any of the games from the Uncharted series so I am excited for this.
Owned the 360 before so I missed all the PS3 titles so the whole remastering thing
does not bother me at all.

Its been awhile since I played them, so I wouldn't mind getting this for the right price.

I moved to Ps4 this generation after being a 360 gamer the past 7 years, so this would be great for me and many others who made the switch.

It is already on PS Now. Just pay $15 or $20 bucks and u could beat them in a month plus try out 100 other games but that would be smart if Sony released an HD collection before Uncharted 4

I hope this is true. I won't be buying as I have already played all of them, but so many new people who switched over from the Xbox will have the chance to enjoy one of the best series in video gaming.

What they make it so much higher in quality that you won't have a choice but to buy it? For instance they could add 60fps and 1080p for each game. V-sync on the first game? Higher resolution textures? Maybe up the polygon count? Thats gonna be to awesome too miss. I would crap my pants if they do that...

I'll start by saying I've only play UC3 so I'm in no way am qualified to speak on the entire series. But I found the movement in UC3 to be very ape-like and horribly unrealistic. Not sure if this is kind of what @xantufrog is getting at. Not just in WHAT Drake was doing because I'm fine with him scaling buildings in 3 seconds flat... I'm more speaking of the way the characters move is so monkey like to me that it was kind of a distracting function as a 2015 gamer. If they remaster it, that and combat would be two great things to improve on. Otherwise, I loved the characters and story. And I'm sure I would have had a different opinion if I hadn't been used to the feel of more modern games when I dove into it...

I find a lot of similarities between that series and the Tomb Raider series. I played UC3 AFTER I played the newest TR game and found it to be an awkward downgrade after playing a similar game that had the more refined controls and movement that, I felt, UC3 lacked. I know too they're several years apart I'm just pointing out that playing them back to back was kind of an awkward experience. This was just my experience with it, I'm sure in context of playing the series it has improved. I guess what I'm saying is if they improved upon these things it could be worth checking out again in the future. It had enough I liked to be sort of interested.

It makes sense on so many levels for Naughty Dog and fans, the fact that Uncharted 4 is looking like the end of the franchise, it makes sense to re-release the trilogy from PS3 so you have the whole saga on one system, same with Batman, the last in the Arkham trilogy being only on the new consoles seems a waste not to bring the trilogy to one format, it will allow me to play through them and be ready for the new one, esp from myself a collectors stand point, it will look better on my shelf on one console than having them in different versions. I don'y agree with remasters to a certain extent, like god of war 3, why just give me the whole collection not just one game

I'm interested, especially for a 60fps 1080p experience. Plus, my uncharted 2 and 1 platinum are on my old account. This will give me a chance to at least plat uncharted 2
