Undead Nightmare Is Broken

I'm exactly 50% through Undead Nightmare and it was working fine but then these glitches came all at once:

- When talking to your friend in Mexico (Who gives you bait bombs) there was 2 of him. When he stood up, he left a shell in the chair.
- A little later when I was collecting a Zombie for the nun, the textures all disappeared. Basically the characters, horses and buildings were all bland pale beige colours. The finished textures kept flashing up and going again.
- I then pressed Start, but there was no menu so I couldn't access the map. Luckily I knew where the bed was in the settlement so I saved and turned my PS3 off.
- I turned it on after 10 minutes. I stood next to the bed and the graphics were back to normal and the start menu was working. I thought yay its fixed, so I started to run out then the game totally froze.
- I have tried 3 times and it keeps freezing. Game is BROKEN ffs

Yeah I had two of the glitches you mentioned, the textures disappearing and one freeze (annoyingly when it's started to play that special song, so I didn't get to listen to all of it). But it was never that bad, you may have to start over.

So what did you do mate?

I've had the first one, but I'm not really sure if that's there to show that the events of Undead Nightmare is fake, because of continuity issues.

Things like Nastas still being alive even though at that point he should be dead, John not having all his weapons, the sheriff of Armadillo calling the sawn off shotgun a 'brand new weapon' and so forth. There are a lot of discrepancies.

But other than that, yeah glitches sucks and I have them too. It takes forever for the game to fully load for me, but it doesn't freeze at least.

Wow guy's this does not sound like Rockstar at all, there games are pretty much always well polished to a high standard

Maybe they didn't test this enough, in hopes of it reaching the release date of 26/10/10

same type of things happen In the full version of RDR

i also have a problem, right when i was about to enter mexico by train, the cutscene freezes but you can still hear the background cutscene continues on then after a few moments later the sound also dies..., then whatever you press on the controller nothing happens so i have to hold the reset button on the ps3 to turn it off. what scared me is that it happened on the very exact part of the very exact same cutscene!, and it happened twice in a row. but i was lucky the third time i tried as it went on smoothly. after entering mexico i saved the game after the very first part where i have to help the nuns, since then i haven't played it yet.

now that i read from other posts that there are more problems that i may encounter in the near future, $h!t!, i a nervous. i hope rockstar releases a patch or something because if not and the problem continues until the release of the disc version, i just might have to re-buy it on disc. i just hope the saves will work on the disc.
