I know Gamespots reviews has lost alot of its credibility over the years, but are they totally wrong? Should people even bother with games rated 6 or under? Have any of you enjoyed and bought a lowly rated game?

i can think of quite a few instances where i played games before really using this site, and when i look at games i played then, im amazed at how low the score is. shadow madness, conflict desert storm... i had more fun playing those games than a lot of the games that get crazy high scores. its not just these reviews, always take reviews with a grain of salt... ie, rotten tomatoes - the boondock saints = 10% overall...

Ratchet and CLank future....7,5/10 from GS
Wipeout HD...........7.5/10 from GS
And so many more bad reviews from GS
Legends of Wrestlemania is pretty fun. It deserves a better score than the 5.0 that GS gave it. Also, I thought Uncharted was amazing and should have gotten a higher score here (even though it still got an 8 which is pretty good).

Oh uncharted Definitly, it should've got a 9 or at least 8.5, I was surprised at how much i liked the game, cos never was into Tomb raider.
Well, there are quite a few. First off, Darksector, second off, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2. Now you may argue, but the game itself was fine. I would say it deserved at LEAST a 6, but their purpose in rating it a 4 was to deter customers, so they could do something different, rather than use the same engine for the next 5 games. I also think Overlord: Raising Hell ( The ps3 edition) should have gotten higher, the marked it down because they thought it was dated, but the other reason probably had something to do with detering PS3 customers, so the game failed, and would not be brought to the ps3. Or, this game, along with many, convinced them to give (mostly) equal scores, for ps3, 360, and PC, because they realized how powerful their reviews were. There are many, many more games, but I just woke up, and can't think of one off the top of my head.

your baseing how good Ratchet&Clank is off reviews
heavenly sword doesnt get the recognition it deserves. it felt much more "next-gen" than any games of its genre this generation like dcm4 and ng2. yeah, it was short. however, it was brilliantly paced and varied, the combat was fluid and massively scaled, and the cutscenes have yet to be matched. it is one of the best gaming experiences ive had this generation.
