It looks like it will join Virtua Fighter 5 and F1 Championship Edition as my trade in credit for upcoming releases like Heavenly Sword, Lair, MGS4 and Ninja Gaidne: Sigma. In fact, aside from Downloadables, the only game I'm keeping that I bought in the first place will be Resistance: Fall of Man. Why does that game never get old? Anyone else tired of Motorstorm and potentially using it to get new titles?

The only "I feel stupid for buying this" game I have is Blazing Angels. I have MotorStorm in two languages, one without online play, Oblivion, F1 CE, Resistance and I'm going to keep them (maybe not the JPN MotorStorm). In my past history I usually regret trading in games I don't play as often anymore, wanting to play them later down the line or just being pissed I only got $1.25 for a game.
I love Motorstorm, winning races in single player or online gives a great rush, I don't see how anyone could get tired of this game or not like it, unless of course you suck at it and get frustrated easily. I mean, the track designs are awesome, so many different routes to take, and no two races are alike. The downloadable content will be a big plus, but as it is this game is definitely a keeper.
Motorstorm is a keeper for me. Even if I were to try using it toward another game I'd sell it myself instead of trade in, get a few more bucks than what the shops give.

For the record, Yes, I can earn $60Â and allot more in 7 months (I live in the UK, by the way :P). I am just stressing the importance of MGS 4 to me. I did brought the ps3 mainly because of MGS 4. :D

You'll never get it. They said that there are some technical reasons why they couldn't do it. I think it is more likely in something like MotorStorm 2, after they've had a chance learn more about the system and optimize things from the ground up.
What the heck would be downloadable for that game? A new track for online? Big deal, the online on Motorstorm kind of blows. People take it too seriously and all those one lap races are just so freaking lame. No one has fun with it, they just HAVE to win. I know winning is good and all, but these guys with God rankings by winning one lap races over and over again in less than a minute just ruin that online experience. I'll keep with Resistance online where just blowing the hell outta everything is too much fun. As for F1 and VF5, I really like those games, and I'm not trading them in because they're bad, I just beat them too quick and VF5 has no damn online. If motorstorm had split screen multiplayer, I'd keep it, but lacking that just completely diminisehd the value of the game. Fun, but not worth more than a few weeks play really.

"Any gamer playing MotorStorm online will get a Time Trial mode automatically, which will allow players to take any vehicle out on the track to battle for the fastest lap time. Extra tracks, vehicles, and game modes will also be up for grabs sometime during April and May."
I can't find the original article that mentioned it, but I believe there is a reverse track plus a new game mode confirmed. The game mode is similar to what is found in other racing games where the last person after every 30 seconds or so (it can be customized) will be eliminated.
 Big deal. People have inflated rankings. Go out there and beat them.
I do beat them....I wait 10 minutes for the host to actually start the race so I can go race Mudpool in a little over a minute and win a one lap race that I've won like 20 times or so in the main game.......hurray!
New tracks, new vehicles....how about splitscreen multiplayer??? I'm not trading it in cause there are not enough tracks or vehicles, but because its value is completely diminished by the lack of split screen. So really, those updates mean nothing to me.
