Unlocking all the SF4 characters, Heres how its done

I realise a lot of you already would know, but this is for the peeps who havent found it out yet!

beat the game with each of the following characters to unlock their hidden characters

C. Viper - unlocks Cammy
Ryu - unlocks Sakura
Sakura - unlocks Dan
Abel - unlocks Fei Long
Chun Li - unlocks Gen
M. Bison - unlocks Rose

To get Akuma

Unlock Dan, Sakura, Fei Long, Cammy, Rose and Gen

Then play arcade mode through, get TWO perfects and at least TWO ultra combo finishes, at ANY POINT ON THE ARCADE, not in order, just as long as you have them before you beat Seth. Then akuma will challenge you, you beat him, you get him

To Get Gouken

Unlock Dan, Sakura, Fei Long, Cammy, Rose and Gen

Then play arcade mode through, get TWO perfects and at least THREE ultra combo finishes, at ANY POINT ON THE ARCADE, not in order, just as long as you have them before you beat Seth. Then Gouken will challenge you, after you beat seth. You win you get him

To Unlock SETH

Play arcade mode through with ALL OF THE UNLOCKED characters, yes this includes gouken and akuma.

can you use continues?

ohh by the way u cant have continues, u cant die, to make it easy for u, why dont u make the game 1 round each

you can't use continues to unlock Gouki and Gouken, the rest are easyRikstah

Okay Ive done this several time and no akuma, got the perfects got the ultra finishes everything, why wont he challenge me??? It very frustrating.I did it on easiest difficulty with 1 round on and unlimited time, maybe that has somthin to do with it??? HELP!

You NEED to play through arcade mode with Akuma once in order to unlock Gouken.

I'm not exactly sure if you can use Akuma right after he unlocks in order to get Gouken.

Took forever for me to beat Seth in Medium, like a good 40 minutes

He really got me mad..his teleportation, long arms, grabs, just about anything is really annoying

You guys are getting trolled...

i think you guys are missing something somewhere about Gouken.

I unlocked all the normal characters like Cammy, Dan etc. just by playing Arcade at easy level and you can die also no problems. you can unlock all of them like this.

For Akuma you need to play Arcade Easiest and make it 3 rounds since you dont have to lose any match and you have to perform 2 Ultra finishing moves and 2 perfects atleast to get him to challenge you and he gets unlocked.

Now for Gouken i finished the game with Akuma in Arcade mode. After that i played with Ryu performed 5 perfects and 3 ultra combos finishers and still no Gouken. Anyone knows whats MISSIING ?

Yeah, I know the site where that came from, but that is false. I tried that, and it didn't work. You need to throw in one more Perfect for it work I think. For Gouken, I had 2 perfect rounds and did AT LEAST 3 Ultra finishes without continuing. So glad I finally accomplished that!

C.Viper.. if you can just keep hard sweeping him never stand up when hes not on his back. Move closer after he gets knocked down and repeat until you've got him in the corner.

I have only unlocked Sakura so far in the but I am gonna try and unlock Akuma because he is such a good character to use online.

what the heck. Gouken didn't unlock for me. I got to fight him before I even got challenged by Akuma.... I got 2 perfects, more than 3 ultra finishes... and Gouken challenges me...I beat him... No continues or anything... and he still doesn't get unlocked.... I did it 2 more times..AFTER i unlocked Akuma. you can't do more than 2 ultra finishes to get challenged by Akuma.... there's gotta be something different with Gouken. do you have to finish him using ultra combo to beat him??????? help...

Did you beat the game with Akuma? You have to beat it with Akuma one time before you can unlock Gouken. Then you can beat it again with any character you want doing the 2 perfects, 3 ultras, and no continues.

finish one match not round with a perfect. So if set to best of three that would mean u have to get two perfect rounds in a row if set to best of one you onle need one to finish the match! finish 3 matches not rounds with ultra finishes! so in other words set your matches to best of one. get one perfect match. Then finish the 3 with ultras. Oh and dont die. if you die you have to start over. My problem was that i kept finishing 1 round with a perfect and 3 rounds with ultras when i should have been getting 2 rounds with a perfect to complete the match and a total of 6 rounds with ultras to complete the 3 match requirement.

oh and this is to get gouken. you have to have akuma first and have beat the game with him... To get akuma its the same as above just one less match completed with ultra finishes.

I unlocked Akuma with 2 perfect wins. I didnt do any ultra combo finish, not even once.
