It is awesome!! Great graphics and everything but there is a lag problem and this is due to the HIGH pings on most servers!!! Whenever I fire a weapon, it takes about a sec to fire and not instantly which make it easier for the other players to run away. UT3 is all about speed and if it takes 1 second for the damn bullets to come out then this will ruin the game because it takes less than a second for the ennemy to escape from my aiming sight because of the game's pace! The lags are due to crappy servers and not my connection. Played, RFOM, Warhawk and COD4 tons of times and never experienced a lag so I am pretty sure it's not my fault! otherwise the game is awesome when playing against bots who have human like abilities and they're so good that I often forget that I'm playing offline. You can play the whole day offline without getting bored! But Epic and Midway needs to fix the damn servers and make them dedicated asWarhawk's!!
UT3 is excellent. If COD4 wasn't video crack I would be playing this one non-stop. Tons of vehicles, fast-paced action, The Redeemer (tactical nuke)... online coop campaign, ability to use user mods for free... I could go on, but this one should sell itself. Ifyou likerun n' gun shooters like Resistance or Halo this one should be a no-brainer.

I agree with you, it does take a sec for it to render my shot; though, not always.
It could use more levels out of the box, but those will come when people can bake PS3 mods. Other than that, it does take a certain type of player to enjoy it, being that type of player I have enjoyed UT3 immensely.
Its great if you like fast paced shooters that are very chaotic. I personally did not care for it. I am more of a Call of Duty 4 guy but thats just me. The graphics are awesome though.
VERY tough call my friend. I have both and enjoy both a lot, COD4 is kind of like the 'current' Halo on PS3, meaning that it's much easier for the average gamer to pick up and enjoy playing, where UT3 takes a lot more work to get good at, not to mention all of the stuff you can do in it that takes time to figure out and then make useful. So basically, UT3 is more demanding of your talents, where COD4 is much easier to pick up and get kills from the getgo.
