Unreal Tournament 3 question.

IS THE GAME LIKE A HALO STYLE,and no im not trying to make this a system wars i jus heard it was similar to halo,i like halo thats why im asking cause i have a ps3 and i dont have a X360 so i cant get halo 3

UT 3 is like Halo in the sense that it is a Sci-fi shooter.The Gore and Violence is like that of Gears of War but with steroids,the gameplay is as fast paced as a squirrel with hyperactive disorder hooked on cocaine and redbull.

lol, yea this game is alot faster than Halo online which is great, but I like UT online cause i sweat when I play. And yes you could jump and do ALOT of other stuff.

but it doesn't have the crazy halo people that cry and scream when they die or lose. those people make me fear for the future of mankind. UT3, i dont find it anything like halo, halo was just "use the same weapon(usually the grenade launcher or sword) over and over again!!!" when this the weapons gave you more reason to switch, like the combos you could do with the alt fire and normal fire. also it is much much faster and holds more people online. besides with UT3 we get the ability to have mods(good ones not nade launcher launches corpses like what my friend did with halo) and a detailed map editor, the map eds are hard on UT2k4 but were in-depth and could have some cool level designs. or really disgusting ones, like well, porn on the walls in hidden areas. it did make the younger players easy shots though lol.

I've never played UT either. Sounds like it is a run-and-gun shooter though, and I hate that. Could someone clarify if it is like that or not. I'm more of a stealthy shooter kinda person, I can't stand Halo. I love shooters like R6V, GRAW2, Gears, and similar to those games. I've thought about this game and been back and forth.luigismansion101

no its run and gun, but with style. but you'd probably wouldn't like it, most people do though, i mean i got it on my schools network hardrives and just about everyone who had a room where the computers were good enough(some had freaking windows 95 NT....) and a teacher who didn't give a damn would play it.
