Hey guys, can I download an older version of the PS3 firmware and install it via usb stick? Because this update is pretty crap, even by Sony's standards.

I think you can go to system settings and theres a way to go back, but I'm not 100% sure. And you can't go on PSN Network on previous firmwares.

Once the update is installed it can't be unistalled or replaced with an older firmware.

It's firmware, not an OS, so you can't go back.

also you wouldnt be able to play online also with old firmware
