Ever since I had updated to 2.50 my internet connectivity had dropped from 90-100% all the way to 37% and below. I couldn't be signed on for more than 5 minutes without getting error 80710092 and being signed out of the PSN. Needless to say I couldn't play any PS3 games online. My connection was so bad I had to get the newest update (2.52) off the internet from my computer, save it to a flash drive, and transfer it to my PS3. The second I updated to 2.52 however, my internet went back to its normal connectivity and now I am not having any problems.

Did anyone else have internet problems from 2.50 or was it just me?

Apparently it was only a temporary fix. The problems are back again...

what connection type? when I use wireless, i get dropped every 5 min. Hardwire ( RJ-58 ) connection however, I get dropped once maybe ever 2 hours or more. Also I was able to update burnout paradise from 1.0 to 1.5 hardwired whereas with wireless I would time out before the dl could finish.

gl to you

You've most likely got a door open or moved an object if you are using WiFi, nothing to do with software.

yea i have similar problems. i fixed it once by doing something with my wireless router and that helped for a while but didnt completly solve the problem. so i decided to just keep it wired. however even with it wired it still signs me out and i cant even download updates without getting kicked off. i just blame it on my interernet service, i know it sux cuz i live on campus.

Well, I say if it's possible to be wired, then be wired, laziness is not an excuse, lack of cable is acceptable though, lag is a very bad thing online.
