In this issue of Gameinformer it states that Sony is thinking about releasing a new 80gig PS3. Sorry I can't remember the page number. I think it's between a fourth to a half of the mag. I don't have the mag with me since I'm not at home right now. With the PSP coming out with a redesign, the 360 elite with 120gig. That runs cooler and quiter than the original and the DS redesign. Makes you think will the Wii be joining the Upgrade Party.

I was just Gamers selling some games and they told that the PS3's harddrive is very easy to remove, so they better step it up to more than just a bigger harddrive.

Hi! My guess is Sony got a better deal on the 80gb drives than the 60gb drives. Looks like a win/win for both Sony and the customer. That's one of the benefits of using a standard 2.5" drive versus the competitions proprietary format. Also as a clarification the new X360 elite is the same as the old X360. Same heat issues and same chance at red ring of death. The only thing they did was color it black, upgrade the drive size, and add HDMI 1.2.
