upgrading hard drive for ps3

You just need to get a SATA 2.5" Hard Drive (used for Laptops)

The size depends on you. But I think the PS3 has a cap of 500gigs or pretty close.

just dont be suprised when you get a big HDD and check you actaul space. it will be less than advertised. it has something to do with the way thay calculate Gigs ect. the larger the HDD the bigger the deffernce between advertised GIGs and actual gigs. my 320 actualy has 290 something gigs lol. i think the reason it takes some space off the hard drive is for sonys OS(xmb)Esgabaldon

That would only occupy a fixed amount of space however. And the difference in capacity varies depending on the size of the hard drive

yes, any 2.5" laptop SATA HD will work!! WARNING!!!!!
