upgrading hard drive help!!!

when u upgrade ur hard drive, does the memory of the games get deleted??

you realize what you wrote right?...when you upgrade your harddrive..the new one is empty while the old one being removed contains all your saves and what nots...correct? so in order to upgrade and keep your saves buy an enclosure for the new harddrive and transfer the data...or any other way of method you like

Copy your HDD info to an external drive first (there's a utility in the XMB for this), then copy back on after the new HDD is formatted in the PS3. Here's some links...

aaah cmon but it was a stupid question ok cmon askmke again i may help ya and for the one who's askin if the data get deleted i'll tell ya no coz the original hard drive well get removed in its original state BUT yuo MUST and i say again YOU MUST! get urself an external hard dis for backin up ok if u intend to upgrade to more larger sophisticated HD's [hard disks] ok? i think i answered him and more ok

Back up your game saves, videos, pics, etc before changing the hard drive. You do know how to do that right?
