So does anybody reccomend a good TV. Full 1080p would be ideal.

42'' Sharp Aquos 1080p for about £1200 from Comet last i heard. I like the look of it.

No get a Samsung 40 inch 1080p HDTV, it's better and should be cheaper now

42'' Sharp Aquos 1080p for about £1200 from Comet last i heard. I like the look of it.Robinho1873

I just purchased the 42" Sharp Aquos 1080p for $1430.80 after tax from Dell. I did a lot of research and found it to be probably the best 42" on the market.

I heard you had to have above 42'' to be ablye to notice a difference between 1080i/720p and 1080p.

See, if the world was fair that would mean that that tv would be around £700 over here but i think your peobably looking at £1000+ over here.

The Samsung 40" tv's (plural) didnt get above a8 on Cnets reviews. The 42" Sharp Aquas got an 8.8. Add that into the research I did and like I said, I found the Sharp to be the best purchase for the money.

I have the Sharp 42 in. 1080p I love it! It was pretty cheap, I got mine at $1150.99 in the states, and I don't have a single complaint. PS3 is breathtaking in full HD far better than what I have seen on the Box with the exception of gears.... I wish so badly we had gears =(

hey, whats the difference between 1080p and 1080i? I know that 1080p is better but why?
