I cant believe there isnt going to be custom soundtracks on Nhl09 for the ps3. But for the 360 there will be..this pisses me off.

Is it possible there will be an update for it? It seems EA favors 360..

Umm the point is ps3 doesnt have it. But im not only saying EA favors 360 just because of that. Its my opinion from all things ive seen

BUrnout was one of the first games to get custom soundtrack, and its an EA game.

Yeah and i was hoping this would have it too..and with burnout..i was wondering if they would update nhl09 just like they did with burnout someday

Well you see, the PS3 can do that now too. The only problem is that it is up to the developers to let you do that. They either will let you listen to your own music while you play their games, or they won't because they want you to listen to their game's music.

heck if i had my own development team i wouldnt give consumers the option to play there own music!..there spending money and talking the time to put beautiful orchestrated music in there games just to have ppl mute it out so they can play rock/hip-hop music

Who cares? How are custom soundtracks a big deal? It's about the games, people! And many games have rockin soundtracks!

Yeah but im talking about the songs played during the game. After you score;breaks;injuries. I especially care after the scoring, maybe theres a particular song i want to played when i score a goal. *cough The Rangers Goal Song cough* :D

And to the person who said dont buy it its EA..you must not play hockey games then, 2k sucks now at hockey games.
