urgent!! please help!! major problems with gta4!!

Hi,

I got to about 50% through the game was loving it but got a bit stuck on the paper trail mission for the UPL so i went and completed all the other available missions like those for ray, phil and the assassination ones etc, then as the paper trail mission was the only one left, i went and completed that and then the problems arose.

The problem is that i have no missions availble at all, ive rang through my entire phone book, ive driven around the city aimlessly, ive got everyones friendship up to perk levels but to no avail, can someone please help or offer some advice as im seriously contemplating restarting the game which will be a serious pain in the ass!!
