Yes the Playstation 3 bought many great games this generation. 77 million PS3's is not bad. The PS3 took a bit to get going but the games did come.Â
My one word is "Brillant"Â
assimilated... Back in the PS1 and PS2 days, Sony had a much larger array of quality exclusives. 3rd parties were more willing to give sony their work exclusively, but the PS3 became just another system last gen. There is very little seperating it from the 360. I also felt Sony's offerings weren't as strong as well. That being said, I'm very satisfied with the console for the multitude of quality multiplats it provided me with. I may have had essentially the same experience with another gaming system, but I chose the PS3 and I'm satisfied with what I got.
Memorable
I started this gen with a 360 as the PS3 had a rough start, but than I picked up a PS3 late 2011 and I've barely touched my 360 since. Might of had a rough start but by the time I picked one up it had quite alot of awesome and memorable exclusives (something the 360 majorly lacks) as well as the awesome ps+! So from my experience with the PS3 this gen, it's been nothing but great and memorable.
same here, only i got it last year. I have barely touched my 360 in the last 6-9 months. Had to get adjusted to it at first, but i like it a lot more than the 360I started this gen with a 360 as the PS3 had a rough start, but than I picked up a PS3 late 2011 and I've barely touched my 360 since. Fire!
Every single year, the amount of quality games coming out has seemed to be increasing year by year. 2012 and 2013 has been really awesome with all the great games. The games are far cheaper than they ever were before and even newly released games. Due to the low cost of games and the amount of quality games, I was able to build up like a 75 game collection (actually more if you count ps+). Both of my PS3s (slim and super slim) are working great and are high quality systems (knock on wood). I am in no rush to get a ps4.

And, I used to still like the 360 a bit because of live but that's not even that great anymore. PS3 just has so much more to offer than it.I started this gen with a 360 as the PS3 had a rough start, but than I picked up a PS3 late 2011 and I've barely touched my 360 since. Decent.
After a very slow start it became the console to own during the last 3-4 years of the generation with it's all-round better exclusives. Sadly by that point alot of people had jumped ship to Xbox 360 and missed out in the long run.
