I LOVE THIS GAME. Unfotunately I don't own it yet though, but keep at it. The game will only get better as the MOD support and mapping becomes available.
why would you buy a game and then ask after? Anyways, Im probably one of the hugest UT fans around,, I love it for the PC. I just cant play FPS on consoles if their on the PC too. I have been playing since Unreal started and I find this is th ebest one yet.
It's very fast paced, gory fun. That's the easiest way to describe it. You basically just run and gun hoping to hit something. There are absolutlyno tactics or stealth gameplay, everything is mass chaos which I like. :D The Game is all about the online play which is superb. The single-player campaign is a joke but that's the way the series has always been. The campaign is just the online component with bots and a few cutscenes thrown in for good measure. Don't expect an art game like Uncharted and Assassin's Creed. This is more like the Michael Bay of video games-mindless, pretty and fun.

I was never really a fan of the UT series. The pacing was too fast for me. I bought UT3 anyway, and I'm enjoying it very much. It's one of my favorite multiplayer shooters to date.
yeah i did. Youre purchase wasnt a very smart one. Good game, but maybe you should do research before hand and ask what people think. Then GO BUY the game.
It's fun no doubt.. but as we all know lag can destroy the online experience of a what-was-fun-game. Unfortunately I can't seem to find a room without it. In some cases, thinks are delayed by entire seconds.
This isn't necessarily the case for everyone... but everything works fine when I play Warhawk.. idk??? :/ ... Otherwise... it's worth the money...
Maybe someone can help me get what I paid for out of it? Idk the problem....
Your post does nothing to explain why you bought the game, and then afterwards started to look at what other people think of it. Kinda got the horse before the cart there buddy. I love the game, but with the way you're treating it before even opening it, I think you need to return it.
As I am someone that is not a fan of FPSs, I typically leave those types of games at the store. However, I have always liked UT for some reason, and I really love the PS3 version of UT3. This is a great game.
I picked it up over the weekend and have to say it is awesome. Graphics look great (reminds me of Gears of War), probably the best on the PS3 yet imo. Gameplay is fast and solid. Don't expect too much for a campain, seems for like a series of tutorials, but Multiplayer online is what this game was really designed for. I some way I like it better than Halo3 online, and I am a huge fan.
Not to worry, you won't have time to concentrate on the graphics as you'll spend most of your time running for your life or hunting someone down like a dog...but the game fun like that. :D
The only flaws are the storyline (in traditional fashion, there is none really) and there have been some network issues (like freezing when joining a game), but as of late I haven't had that problem. The graphics are great IMO.
If you love playing onine this game is AWESOME. The single player isn't much to brag about, but playing online makes this game worth it. The graphics are awesome and a whole bunch of game modes makes this an exciting game. I say open that bad boy out and get online so I can kick ur @$$
