im so disappointed...OMG!!

i live with a roomate and we play ps3 like everyday ..now we cant play ut3 online together such a shame

WHY CAN DEVS PUT A LITTLE EXTRA TIME IN PUTTING IT IN !!!!!!!!!

gears of war had online split-screen, so I kind of expected this one to as well.

Does it have offline split screen or is there just no split screen period?

because they talked about it advertised it and mark rein even said it was gonna happen then today the day of the release they let us know that its not in the game. Since Epic started going into the console business they've just lost focus. they shouldn't have touched the console version till they finished the pc version. now they have a pc version that has nearly been abandoned and a ps3 version which doesn't seem to be fairing much better.

What's funny is that Playstation has never really BEEN the multiplayer system. For all it's generations it normally cattered to the singeplayer experience.

Back in Playstation One era? PSone had all the RPGs, MGS, Syphon Filter, etc. All the games were 1 player that were any good. Why? Mainly because it only had 2 controller jacks, but hey.

N64 had all the multiplayer 4-player shooters.

Next gen it was PS2

And then Gamecube/Xbox...


That's always on thing I say to people when they ask if they should get a PS3 "Do you want to play by yourself?" Not many people have a PS3, so you can rarely play with friends (luckily I know 4)... and the multiplayer offline/split screen-esque games are lacking severely.
