I don't know how many of you have UT3, or have played it online, but for those of you that have, was it laggy for you at all? For me, it is a total lagfest. I mean, it's pretty bad. I click down R1 to shoot, and literally 10 seconds later, my gun finally shoots. Some of you will say that it is my connection that is the problem, but the thing is, I play CoD4 at the same connection, and CoD4 works really well. So, wtf??
Lmao, i'd tell you you're wrong but i've seen this lag first hand. But' to the people reading this, it is not Unreal's problem. You my friend are joining games with high pings. Enter a game with lower ping, something lower then 100 if possible. I was in a high ping match where all my guns would transform into 1...literally. The lag was bad that it wouldnt make the gun i changed go away, they would just bunch all up and look like 1 lol.
Basically It just means the person hosting the match has a horrible connection, you should maybe host you're own matches, people end up joining within seconds. Next think u know nice fast paced non-laggy ut3 fun. Hope youve downloaded the new maps. pz

Living far from the host doesnt mean it would lag.
It's the complete opposite for me. I have never once had lag. Maybe it's because I have common sense and always choose the server with the lowest ping.
not laggy at all. only some user hosted servers. the midway servers are lag free. try joining some of those. add me on PSN though, i might make a server
