Dilemma: I have a $60 dollar gift card for best buy and i'm torn on what to spend it on. The only game on my radar right now is Ut3 but I am skeptical about the mixed reviews, but I think it looks great. I am a fan of shooters, and already have CoD4 right now. the thing is I dont have all the time in the world to play games so CoD4 is keeping me plenty occupied.

Or I could spend it on a couple of blu ray movies. One that I want is Transformers, I have never seen it and i think it would be a great blu ray. I already have the 3 pirates movies. So what would I make the other one? Maybe 300?

I know I should think for myself and buy what I want but i value your guys suggestions

UT3, no question about it.

EDIT: Transformers is only available on HD-DVD.

Transformers is not on blu ray. Do u mean Transporter????

Anyway, i have UT3 and its probaly the best shooter i have played in a long time and i have played them all. It took me a while to get use to because its soo fast but when u get the hand of it, its amazing. Graphics are great and online is fun. But the only problems i have with the game is the no splitscreen(not a big problem just a little one) and that there not alot of people playing online.

Soo if those problems make u iffy on the game, then i say dont buy it and go for the movies but if u dont really care, get the game.

I own UT3 and would say wait until it drops in price or some better mods come out. It is just a fragfest but if your into that go for it. COD4 is much better imo.

Well I guess transformers is out of the question, or i cuold just get it on regular DVD

The thing that scares me about the game is that I have heard its a different style. And if you have never played it before you may not like it, but at the same time you may. But I have a friend that used to play it on PC, and we usually agree on games and he said it was a little too fast. I was actually looking at the game and when he told me that I put it down. I could also trade in a couple of my games that i havn't played and use it towards Ut3, so I think i am going to go for the movies at best buy

Any suggested movies?

I kind of have the same problem. I have a $50 Bestbuy gift card, but with a $10 off coupon and some extra cash. I was thinking about getting Superbad on Blu-ray, and the Shivering Isles expansion, or just get UT3. I really really want Superbad though, and I really want the SI expansion. Plus I already own COD4 so I can get my fix of online shooter whenever. My suggestion to the TC is to rent UT3 first, thats what I am going to do, and depending on how much fun I have with it I might buy it.

UT III is a fun game if you like respawners. Non stop action. Got it for Christmas and have been splitting my time (when I have it) between UT III and Uncharted.

I haven't watched 300 on Blu-Ray but my friend said it was a bit grainy, which was disappointing to hear.
