UT3 to have PC-PS3 crossplatform play CONFIRMED

The partnership pertains only to the PlayStation 3 and PC platforms, and will enable cross-platform play between the two.

thats because MS wants all games that cross platform to be part of the GFW campaign, which Epic is vocally against. MS's loss... UTIII will destroy the FPS genre.

Well nobody forces you to get a keyboard. All you have to do is filter to games that only allow controller based users only.

It won't happen it's not possible. The only reason Shadowrun (actually love this game) works cross-platform, is throw LIVE on pc, 360. As we all know you Epic doesn't want you to pay to play online on the pc, therefore i don't see ithappening.

VERY COOL. Imagine the comp you'll need to run the game at full detail, we PS3 gamers get to run the beast great for only 500 bucks! Heh, I was so surprised to see positive news about the PS3 for once I thought this was obviously fake.

UT was always meant to be played with a KB+M anyways. and if WongB is correct... you can filter out your search so that you can join games with people only using controllers.

That will split the online community.The few Ps3 owners that want to use a mouse will more than likely be blocked from playing with controller users. Doesn't make much sense...

Mark Rein has stated several times that they are not sure about the cross platform as yet. I know a lot of Pc gamers don't want it so i don't see it happening.
