Alright, I have 2 questions: 1. How bad is the loading in this game? Does the disc make that annoying scratching sound often? 2. (I seriously doubt anyone will know this) Is the pre-order DLC compatible with the digital version? I pre-ordered and got the code, but I am thinking of taking the game back and getting the digital version.
1. Loading times are almost non-existant, especially if you install the game. It naturally makes some scratching noises, but nothing major or long at all.
2. I don't see why the code wouldn't work with the digital version. Many people (including myself) are having trouble though with the pre-order code though. Doesn't seem to be working through the game.
Load times without the install are a little bit slow for my taste. Though I should note that I only have a PSP-1000, which doesn't have the extra RAM found in later models to buffer the disc drive.
There's basically no loading time (it plays extremely quickly), and this is without installing the extra game data to lower loading time, so with the extra data installed it must be uber fast! And it doesn't make the annoying scratching sound for me. I'm not sure in regards to the DLC compatibility question, but I'm guessing it is!
I downloaded it for the GO and installed it and there is like no load times at all. You can check everything in less than a minute and get going on your next mission. I'm not use to such fast load times considering the first game it took a good bit of time to check with the queen, then the training grounds, then the R&D, then check your stats and skirmish missions, then go check the journalist. Everything in this game is like "One....tw..DONE!!", or faster.
