Valkyria Chronicles Lecture

So this is about the 100th person to ask me about when Valkyria Chronicles will be in stock and then they tell me how rare it is... yes i know i had to find a copy too. This guy rents the game 3 times over thats 30 bucks then goes all out and buys it for a additional 50 bucks (buys the rental copy). Some 28 year old guy who seemed like at first glance would hate anything anime or japanese... yet he could not keep quiet about it(Looked like a old bald Modern Warfare kinda guy) . The Surrounding chain of stores also had there rentals bought out a few weeks ago! Holy wow i was lucky to grab mine when i did! Its now or never folks! Every kind ofperson loves it!

I hope they don't reprint it, so I can wait a year and sell mine for a good price. I just couldn't force myself to finish it, loved the game play but the cutscenes bored me to death.

You must be crazy! Though if a game has a sloppy story i wont finish but i loved Valkyria's story.

Didnt we decide last time this topic came up that it was still in print, besides the games all over ebay for cheap among other places, sure isnt rare in my book

Something is disturbingly wrong with that.

Bought it first day of release, one brief look at the previews was all I needed. Interestingly enoough Wallmart was the only place that carried it on release, while visits to EB, Futureshop, and Bestbuy proved futile.

I got mine via Amazon.com in June or so for only $45.00 and the game is new. So, if you are looking to buy it for a good deal, give amazon.com a try.

I ALMOST bought my local Blockbusters rental copy for $35. Luckily Sony sent mine back to me though. But, I was fully willing to spend an entire 90+ dollars to own this game. :P I have a sneaking suspicion that this massive spike in sales will lead to a re-print though... raven_squad

Ok, to get it for £28 in the UK, just go to www.CEX.co.uk, or one of their shops. There must be one somewhere near you - they have 14, FOURTEEN, copies. Someone you must know must live near a CEX store as well. List of CEX stores.

the bestbuys in my area have like 4+ copies per store
