I just picked this game up, and I am about 1:30 into the game in the first dungeon.

Was anyone else GREATLY confused by this game? I understand that I am recruiting warriors etc, but they don't really explain anything about your menu screen and what all these new abbreviations mean. Sure, we are accustomed to HP and MP, but what is this other stuff and how does it affect everything?! YES, I read the instructions and I am still confused.

Secondly, I feel like you have to play it thru perfectly to get the good ending (I glanced at a FAQ) Part of me doesn't like to be bottle necked like that.

Should I trade it in for Monster Hunter Freedom 2?

I was massivily confused and I was at the end chapter, in my second try on the game. It was just confusing, even if I liked the battle system... As for trading it for Monster Hunter Freedom 2 I guess if you like that kind of game ;)

I use to own this game, becaues i thought it was going to be like a Final Fantasy type of game. Boy was i wrong. The battle system was good, but i hated the way you had to recruit people and find them. I ended up beating the game with the worse possible ending and traded it in for Untold Legends : Brotherhood of the blade ( 17.00 ). So IMO, trade it for MHF 2. :D

If you're not satisfied with the game go ahead and turn it in for another game. :P

I say play it through. It was a fun game with a good story line and some of the best graphics I've seen on the psp.

it good once you get into it dont worry about getting the good ending just play and enjoy the game . as for the menus being alittle confusing that's true but you get use to them. the story is good and the action is fun. here this might help

just try to enjoy the game but if you find you really cant then trade it for something else MHF2 is a cool game.

Yeah, I am still going thru the first dungeon. I guess in the end I wanted it to be a little more like a traditional JRPG. The graphics are stunning though and the battle is fun. Some of the voices kinda drive me up the wall though.
